Since I now work for Adams Golf, it makes reasonable sense that I should be playing Adams equipment. In the past, I've always bought (or been given for Christmas in earlier times) clubs piecemeal. I'd get a driver 2008, wedges, 2009, new irons 2011, etc.

Contagion gets a solid 3.5 stars out of 4.0 from me. The extra 1/2 is directly due to the numerous Minnesota connections (specifically Minneapolis) in the movie. Just great. Three blocks north of my apartment. It was spectacular. Rocking out to U2 with almost 60,000 people for almost two-and-a-half hours, the last half of which became a driving rainstorm, made for an unforgettable night.

Okay, not that much more. Six years of attending Gopher hockey games have come to a close. Overall, I saw 69 games, and the team went 37-21-11 with me in attendance. Well, Natalie did quite a good job


I saw Black Swan today. The overriding thought in my mind as I exited the theater was 'what the heck did I just watch?' What a strange unique strange and unique film.

There were some recognizable themes. The parent who tries to live vicariously through her child and becomes domineering to the extreme.
